FUNNY FAN – the ecological promotional fan!

I don’t know how you deal with it, but personally, when it’s scorching hot outside I almost faint, I become irritable, impatient and a bit aggressive!!

It’s obvious that during the hot season a FAN is essential to endure such warm temperatures…

Of course the promotional fan is not new. On the other hand, the ecological, recycled, 100% personalised fan is new!!
The FUNNY FAN is made of recycled cardboard, and has a funny round or square shape which can be personalised in full colour on its entire area!

Its original shape, wide printing surface (210 mm diameter) and its ecological nature make the FUNNY FAN a unique, fresh and new promotional product!!

Even the famous has adopted it!

This made in France product has a low cost per unit and is really effective to promote a message!

Ideal for festival, outdoor events, sport events, meetings, conferences, waiting rooms, etc.

Startup Schwag 2007-2010

After 32 months of distributing schwag from some of the best startups around, meeting hundreds of entrepreneurs, attending startup events from BarCamps to SXSW, TechCocktail to The Crunchies, coverage on TechCrunch, Mashable and even a tiny mention in the Wall Street Journal, I’ve taken it as far as I can. It’s time for Startup Schwag subscriptions to end.

Thank you startups, subscribers and everyone who has made Startup Schwag possible. There are too many people to list, but there are a few people I wanted to call out specifically: Lisa Brewster, Michael Arrington, Alexis Ohanian, John McCrea (although we never printed Plaxo =) ), Adam Hirsch, Nan Braun, Lisa Bettany, Jeff Smith and unofficial photographer Homard.

For subscribers, Startup Schwag loves you and will miss you guys. I’ll start sending out refunds and cancellations now.

We have some shirts remaining in the shop, if anyone’s interested.

Thanks all,

–Roddy

A Billion-Dollar Idea

How does a billion dollars in sales sound? That’s what the industry could realize if distributor firms answer my challenge to add 20,000 new sales reps to grow our market, stimulate the national economy and put Americans back to work.
ASI is doing its part by placing help-wanted ads for 100% commission-based sales reps on the [...]

Talk Show Logo Mugs

When you create a successful promotional product campaign, you shouldn’t have to worry about a supplier keeping up with demand for your items.

In 2010 lightning fast production times and expedited rush shipping have become the norm. Once your artwork is received and the order is approved, you can have many products at your doorstep in as little as 48 hours! So why are some companies okay with waiting weeks for their re-orders to arrive?

Case in point: CNBC’s “Squawk Box” is a popular morning talk show that focuses on important financial news. The program has a loyal viewership that tunes in every day, so when they offer promotional Squawk Box schwag for sale, the demand is certainly there. In the screen-grab below you can see one of their most popular promotional items – custom coffee mugs imprinted with caricatures of the show’s hosts.

Since these promotional mugs get constant exposure on the show, demand is always high. How do I know? The mug has been unavailable in the company’s online store for weeks now! At the time of this post, CNBC’s site informs customers that they’ll have to wait at least another 5 days before they’ll have more promotional mugs to ship out. This stock issue has been a problem for weeks now.

On the other hand, a quick look at our custom coffee mug inventory shows dozens of mugs that can be produced, packed, and shipped in less than a week – some in less than a day or two. Hey CNBC, maybe you should give us a call!

In tangentially related talk show coffee mug news, thanks to Kevin Pollak for showing off his new ePromos coffee mug in the latest episode of his online chat show. We hope you and your staff are enjoying them!

I love a holiday but?

I live for the long weekends, I never seem to have enough time during a normal week to get everything done and the long weekends give me a chance to catch up. (more…)
