Pampers Cruisers: Guerrilla Diaper Swing
Apr 2nd
| To promote their new “2x drier, 20% thinner, and super-stretchy” diapers, Pampers created a great guerrilla marketing campaign. The main selling point of Pampers Cruisers is the fact that they let babies play easily and effortlessly without being slowed down by a bulky diaper. To get this point across, Pampers chose the perfect medium: baby swings at playgrounds! Swings were transformed into diapers imprinted with the slogan “Cruisers: Play on!” |

Odor Blocker Body Builder
Apr 2nd
I hope I’m not alone when I say that I love Old Spice commercials! Their new ads feature Terry Crews, from movie and Everybody Hates Chris fame, and his famous pecks! If this is what a man who uses Old Spice looks like then every bottle must come with a customized body sculpting set. I’m guessing his body is supposed to represent the strength of the body wash. Well fellas, if you’re browsing the market for a body wash that can fight odor and people then you’re in luck! I can just see Terry Crews shredding a personalized tank top that reads “Odor” off his body. Too insightful? Sorry, but you get my drift. Consider Old Spice customized toiletries for the man who hates to stink.

Custom T-Shirt: “Health Reform is a BFD”
Apr 1st
When the health care reform bill passed last week, a pesky stage microphone caught Vice President Joe Biden eloquently explaining the historical significance of the bill to Barack Obama in no uncertain terms: “This is a big f&$#ing deal!”
Biden’s gaffe became a pretty big deal of its own as it was picked up by major media outlets, but now the Obama administration is cashing in. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with April Fool’s Day, but a pretty hilarious custom t-shirt that reads “Health Reform is a BFD” is now for sale in Obama’s official swag store.
The product description is pretty funny as well: “There are things that are a big deal — birthdays, anniversaries, the NCAA Championship game. And then there are things that are a BFD, like delivering health insurance to 32 million Americans. We worked hard together to make health reform a reality, and now you can celebrate this historic victory with this shirt.”
