BroderBros. Co., Trevose, Pa., recently expanded its Houston distribution center, located at 10215 S. Sam Houston Pkwy. W. The 32,000-square-foot facility, which currently offers pickup-only services, will offer full shipping capabilities.

The online entry system at www.clioawards.com will now remain open until Wednesday, March 10. Entries first appearing Jan. 1, 2009 through the first quarter of 2010 must reach CLIO offices in New York before this deadline.
Eco-Unfriendly: McDonald’s Olympic Coupon

Here’s a McDonald’s promotion used at the Vancouver Olympics that strikes me as wasteful and unnecessary. Apparently, the Russian house was located across the street from a flagship McDonald’s location. In order to get the athletes to stop by (Olympic athletes eat McDonalds?), the fast food chain put together this series of stackable Big Mac boxes that mimic Russian matyroshka dolls. Inside the smallest box was a coupon for free food. I think McDonald’s could have come up with a more eco-friendly promotion to deliver the coupon instead of wasting hundreds of empty boxes.
